This month we had a wonderful meeting at Mrs. Beagle's place.   We started off the afternoon with a demonstration of rope climbing.  Unfortunately the new queens that had been ordered did not make the trip for the requeening demonstration.  But Mr. Harris opened the hives and located the existing queens and then treated the hives for the hive beetles and veroa mites.  Next came a very enjoyable time of fellowship with a potluck meal, followed by a honey tasting contest with several members bringing samples of their honey for the contest.  We held our meeting and finished up the afternoon with a nice day of comparing experiences and opened the floor for nominations the slate of officers for the upcoming year.  No new nominations were made. Everyone still has a chance to be added to the list.  During next meeting the slate will be voted on.  Hope you all are there.
