• Hosting the Georgia Beekeepers Association Spring Meeting!

    Our Chattahoochee Valley Beekeepers Association will be HOSTING the GBA Spring meeting at Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center here in Columbus February 7-8, 2014!  If you don’t already know what happens at a GBA meeting, we have a description below for you.  All members of our group (CVBA), are encouraged to keep learning about beekeeping.  Attending these sessions at the GBA Spring meeting gives you several different topics under one roof and in one afternoon.  You need to be a member of the GBA to attend.  The registration fee for members of GBA is $25.  If you are not already a member, consider going to the GBA website http://www.gabeekeeping.com/join.html to find out the benefits.  You will see that individual membership is $15 and family membership is $25.

    Here is an overview of the two day event.  You will see that the educational sessions are repeated so you won’t have to choose between them.  Note the disclaimer at the top that this is subject to change… since you are beekeepers, you already know how to roll with the flow… so here is what we know as of today:
